We have two younger scouts who have volunteered to help us at the Pack 378 B&G, but we really need one or two Life Scouts, experienced enough to be able to lead the crossing ceremony. Let me know if you are available Saturday at 5PM to show off your leadership skills!
Pack 378 is having its Blue and Gold this Saturday starting at 5pm in the St. Michael school gym. We will have 3 cub scouts crossing over into our troop that evening. We will need 2 or 3 scouts from our troop to help with the bridging ceremony.
Please let Mr. Sours know if you are available and would be interested in this opportunity.
Due to Ash Wednesday and Valentines Day, this week scout meeting (2/14/18) will be cancelled.
At next weeks meeting (2/21/18) the theme will be hobbies. First half of the meeting you will show your favorite hobby to your troop. So, start thinking of your favorite hobby now. The Troop PLC prefers that the hobby be non-electronic, but if it is your only option, better to show it than not show it. In the second half of the meeting Mrs. Yeigh and Mrs. Nemeth will continue the First Aid merit badge.
Just a reminder for our meeting tonight at 7pm.
Mrs. Nemeth and Mrs. Yeigh will continue to work on First Aid merit badge for those that do not have it yet.
The remainder of the meeting will be a PLC planning meeting to plan the next two months meetings. This would include the leaders and any other scout who has ideas for and wants to help plan the meetings. Remember the homework I gave you last week to come tonight prepared with interesting and executable meeting ideas.
FYI for anyone interested in the Law merit badge. A flyer from a Girl Scout troop leader. Thought I would pass it along and see if any of the Boy Scouts would be interested in attending
We will be having a White Elephant Gift Exchange ($10 limit) at the Jan. 24, 2018 meeting. Please bring a Scouting appropriate white elephant gift of $10 or less if you would like to participate in the gift exchange.
