Recognizing and Celebrating our Troop’s Achievements
Our troop's November court of honor celebrated members of Troop 652B and 652G. Our scouts earned an incredible 231 merit badges and 24 ranks, plus 2 adult leader awards! We also recognized and celebrated boys' scoutmaster, Mr. Kevin Snyder, for his many years of servant leadership to Scouting and the troop. Mr. Snyder, who also served as the cubmaster for Pack 297 before becoming a scoutmaster at Troop 652, will be stepping down from his role at the end of 2025.
Troop Hosts AOLs at Campout
Our troop members, including boys and girls, camped at Firelands Scout Reservation the weekend of October 24-26. Troop scouts welcomed Arrow of Light visitors from different Cub Scout packs. We introduced them to troop life, showed them the fun outdoor activities we enjoy doing, and shared the amazing camp meals we love to create. Thanks for visiting with us, AOLs!

Flying High with the Aviation Merit Badge

Troop members were flying high after a weekend visit to the MAPS Air Museum in North Canton, Ohio where they learned all about aeronautics and earned the Aviation merit badge. They sat in helicopters, watched Blackhawks arrive and depart, learned about pilot training, and were instructed in flight and air transportation.
I Pledge Allegiance…
On September 9, Troop 652 had the distinguished honor of witnessing an Immigration & Naturalization Ceremony at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School while participating by posting the colors. Congratulations to the 25 individuals who became U.S. citizens! See a collage of event photos.

The group rode the CVNP train to Indigo Lake and bicycled back to Brecksville for a 10-mile round-trip activity. Everyone who participated had a great day enjoying time on the trail!
