A Scout is Reverent. Reverence is integral to good character and citizenship.

Scout Sunday, typically held the Sunday before February 8, is the anniversary of Scouting. Scouts from 652 celebrated with parishioners during Mass at St Basil the Great Catholic Church – Brecksville OH. Thank you to St. Basil’s, Fr. Ryan Mann, and Deacon Rob Blackburn for their ongoing support of the Scouting program at the parish.

In 2024, BSA announced that it would change its name to Scouting America. The name change officially went into effect on February 8, 2025, the 115th anniversary of the organization. The Scout Oath, Law and program remain unchanged.
