Putting the Outing in Scouting
It's not all about camping! In December, we had a βwhirlyβ good time at Whirlyball for our troop holiday party!
Giving Thanks for Scouting
Our scouts and leaders are sharing their appreciation and gratitude for Scouting this Thanksgiving. Follow along with us this November on our Facebook page to learn about everything they are grateful for in 2024.

Troop Members Awarded Certificate of Merit
Calm. Level-headed. Well-trained.
When faced with a head injury caused by an accident at summer camp, these two scouts and two leaders demonstrated their First Aid training and reacted with great composure and calm. Justin and Tommy assessed the situation and, with the help of leaders Katrina and Shawna, stabilized their fellow scout and assisted the medical personnel that arrived on the scene.
At our recent troop court of honor, all four were presented the Certificate of Merit from Lake Erie Council, Boy Scouts of America for their quick thinking and actions. We are proud of their incredible effort during a formidable situation.
Thank you to LEC's Unit Service Director Michelle Cali and Safety Director Sarah Willamson for presenting the awards.
Arrows Join Us at Troop Campout
We enjoyed an early November weekend campout with some Arrow scouts at Camp Bulter. Our troop members helped them work on their adventures while rocking it out with different cooking methods and culinary delights!
Happy Halloween!
We're feeling festive this Halloween! Our troop members enjoyed a small party to celebrate the season.
‘Tough as Nails’ Fall Camporee
Are you tough as nails? In early October, scouts and leaders spent a weekend at council's fall camporee learning about construction trades and heavy equipment operation. Scouts participated in traditional Scouting activities like archery but also did special hands-on activities with plumbing and woodworking, and had a chance to operate a crane!
Service at the Beach in September
Troop scouts and leaders had a good weekend in September at Geneva State Park participating in Lake Erie Council's Service at the Beach event. Each camper completed at least six hours of conservation work making improvements and cleaning up the beach and park on Saturday. Our boys picked up 5,000 pieces of trash (yes, we counted!). After a day of conservation work, troop members enjoyed a relaxing evening at the beach and saw a beautiful sunset on the shoreline.
