Taking on the Aqilokoq Klondike Derby
In late January, troop members competed in Lake Erie Council’s Aqilokoq Klondike Derby at Beaumont Scout Reservation. Patrols participated in team building competitions and activities to earn points. Older, experienced scouts helped our newer, younger troop members accomplish tasks along the way while having a great time playing in the snow (and trying to build the biggest snowball ever!). Points were used at an evening auction to bid on and win needed items and gear for the troop including a new hatchet, tarps, a case of snacks, Gorilla tape and a collapsible dish tub. A ‘Whirly’ Good Time
652B knows how to have fun indoors and out! Troop members recently enjoyed a holiday celebration with an outing at Whirlyball in Bedford Heights.

Church Helpers at St. Basil
Members of Troop 652B, Troop 652G and Pack 652 recently assisted parish staff by swapping all church missals and song books at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church. The group worked quickly to help our chartering organization with the large task.
Deck the Farm!
Troop members recently helped ‘deck the farm’ at Stearns Homestead in Parma. Scouts, leaders and parents assisted homestead volunteers with removing fall decor and creating winter wonderland fun. Exterior areas and interior buildings at the nonprofit farm are now ready for the most festive time of the year!

A Smashing Good Time at Fall Camporee
The boys’ troop recently took on the Bushmaster Challenge Camporee at Firelands Scout Reservation in Wakeman, OH. The campers, proud members of the Snack Patrol, had a blast doing an apple smash, duck races, tomahawk throwing, and different bushcraft skills.
