Scouts that plan to attend National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) must attend ILST. Completion of ILST is a pre-requisite for Scouts to participate in the week-long National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) leadership training course in June.

Lake Erie Council's premier youth leadership training. Scouts must be at least 13 at the time of NYLT and have achieved First Class rank.
