Troop scouts and leaders had a good weekend in September at Geneva State Park participating in Lake Erie Council’s Service at the Beach event. Each camper completed at least six hours of conservation work making improvements and cleaning up the beach and park on Saturday. Our boys picked up 5,000 pieces of trash (yes, we counted!). After a day of conservation work, troop members enjoyed a relaxing evening at the beach and saw a beautiful sunset on the shoreline.
