In late January, troop members competed in Lake Erie Council’s Aqilokoq Klondike Derby at Beaumont Scout Reservation. Patrols participated in team building competitions and activities to earn points. Older, experienced scouts helped our newer, younger troop members accomplish tasks along the way while having a great time playing in the snow (and trying to build the biggest snowball ever!). Points were used at an evening auction to bid on and win needed items and gear for the troop including a new hatchet, tarps, a case of snacks, Gorilla tape and a collapsible dish tub.
